Women's ministry exists for ministering to women;
equipping them for service; encouraging them for every
situation of life; empowering them with the Holy Spirit;
and to enable believing women to be healthy, growing,
and reproducing.
To serve God by ministering to God, to our church, to
each other, and to women in Sandy in an atmosphere of
acceptance, trust, and safety. Our emphasis is on
meeting the needs of women in LWF so they can minister
to women in their circle of influence. We desire to
create an excitement about serving Jesus, welcoming and
helping other women, to grow in maturity as well as in
numbers. Our goal is to make training available to the
women of LWF, teaching them to evangelize and receive
new women who accept the Lord and who allow us to direct
them to growth resources.

Leila Blakely
Leila
has lived in the Sandy area for 10 years. She is married
to her lifetime partner, Brent. She also partners with
God and Brent in ministry helping others gain freedom
from their past painful experiences and journeys.
She
has 3 loving, individual, and unique stepsons and a
soon-to-be daughter-in-law. She has gained an awesome
extended family while helping others. She currently
works as a buyer/customer service for Leo Gentry
Nursery.

molding and shaping and changing me on a regular basis.
Through the grace of God extended to me, I hope as a
team member, with Lindsay, to be able to help direct and
meet the needs of the women in our church and our
community."

Lindsay
Polk
Lindsay has attended LWF since she was 16. She is a
high school special education teacher. She enjoys
working
out, reading, and knitting when she has the
time. She will be getting married this summer. |
